Bad news as Man United star suffers injury, could be broken rib

Rafael had to be taken off before half-time for Manchester United’s after suffering a heavy blow to his ribs.
Leicester City’s Anthony Knockaert went flying in with a dangerous high challenge and Rafael grimaced in pain straight away.
The Brazilian defender looked in some discomfort on the floor and was clearly not happy before he went straight down the tunnel as he was unable to recover.
After a season of frustration and disappointment, the last thing Rafael would want is to have suffered a fractured rib. It was the same injury which Ander Herrera had earlier this season and it kept him out of full action for some time.
It’s been such an indifferent season that Rafael is probably counting down the days until it is over but he has no desire to leave the club on a permanent basis, so will no doubt be worried about what his future is under Louis van Gaal.
Hopefully for his sake his injury is nothing more than bruising but with time quickly running out this season, opportunities for Rafael to break back into the first-team are quickly dwindling.

Club want to sign Sevilla goal machine

Manchester United are interested in bringing Sevilla striker Carlos Bacca to Old Trafford this summer.
According to reports in Spain, United are said to be ahead of Arsenal and Liverpool in the battle to sign the 28-year-old.
United are in the market for a new striker with Robin van Persie looking set to leave and Radamel Falcao’s loan spell ending.
Colombian Bacca has scored 21 goals this season and it is thought United could land the player for around £15m.
United are also keeping tabs on defensive midfielder Rodrigo Dourado.

The club are said to have sent scouts to watch the Internacional player face Brasil de Pelotas last weekend.
Dourado has been likened to Barcelona's Sergio Busquets due to his positional awareness and ability on the ball.
Anderson, who joined the Brazilian side during the winter transfer window, will be able to fill him in on life at Old Trafford.
Meanwhile, Javier Hernandez could find himself making a new life in Russia next season with Dynamo Moscow interested in signing him.
The Mexican international is currently on loan at Real Madrid but has struggled to make an impression on Carlo Ancelotti.
According to Italian website Tutto Mercato Web, with no future at United on the cards, Hernandez could switch to Dynamo with the club said to have been in touch to discuss a deal.
