Manchester United target drops exit hint

PSG striker Edinson Cavani has hinted that he could depart the Ligue 1 champions this summer, with Manchester United one of many teams interested.
According to the Express, the Uruguayan is ready to leave the French capital, with Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea all sharing the Red Devils’ interest in the forward. Some reports suggest that Cavani failed to turn up to PSG’s pre-season training session, but PSG were quick to say that the striker will join up with the squad on friday ahead of their Asian tour.
But the striker, who scored against England in the World Cup, has spoken about his future, leaving the door open for a move away from France: “Football is a sport where confidence is everything,” he said.

“When a club wants you, calls you, they want to make you part of their project, they are looking for you. In those moments, you feel confident. I am relaxed on what those can say about my work. Palermo, Napoli and PSG all gave me this confidence.  A change of club does not solely depend on the wants of the player, there have to be different movements among clubs.
“I have a four year contract with Paris. The Premier League or the Bundesliga? I like them a lot but I am not used to constantly changing league. Germany, Spain, Italy and England have the best leagues. But France are progressing.”
Manchester United have been repeatedly linked with the former Napoli forward, and could be ready to test PSG’s hold of the seemingly unhappy striker.
