This summer Real Madrid’s marquee signing was Colombian World Cup star James Rodriguez.‘Los Blancos’ sold Angel Di Maria to Manchester United despite him being their second best player last season and producing a Man of the Match performance in their Champions League final.
Today he showed his class in Manchester United colours, opening the scoring and inspiring the Red Devils to their first win of the season.
On Twitter this evening Jamie Carragher compared the two £60m men, claiming Angel Di Maria is the better player.
James Rodriguez has yet to get going at Real Madrid and Carragher believes manager Carlo Ancelotti must be ruing Florentino Perez’s meddling.
